Plaintiff: R. Kelly gave me an abortion and smeared myself with feces

Jane Doe 5 testified in tears on Monday that R. Kelly controlled her every move and forced her to pee in a cup in his studio, calling him “Dad”.
On Monday, one of R. Kelly’s accusers collapsed in the stands because she was abused by the infamous singer during their five-year relationship and described how he caused her to bruise her frequently when spanking. Injured and even forced her to have an abortion in 2017.
“He has stated that he still wants me to keep my body tight, and that after he gets rid of the rest of the girls, he wants to have a family,” the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe 5 in court documents, told jurors in Brooklyn Commonwealth The court’s Kelly racketeering and sex crime trial.
The woman who called herself “Jane” to the jury recalled that she met Kelly at a hotel after a concert in Orlando, Florida, by the 17-year-old high school student Kelly. During their five-year relationship, she lived with Kelly and his girlfriend in Atlanta and Chicago, and as long as she violated his “rules”, she would often be punished.
She testified that when they met for the first time, she said Kelly “put pressure on her” and asked him to let him perform oral sex on her. After that, tell Kelly that her 18-year-old Jane Doe 5 met with the singer at several concerts across the country. A few months later, she said that whenever they had sex, she started to feel severe pain.
“My pelvis and lower abdomen will feel discomfort,” said the 23-year-old woman. “It got to the point where I couldn’t even walk.”
The pain became so severe that Kelly finally arranged a doctor appointment for Jane Doe 5 when she learned that she had contracted vaginal herpes. When she told Kelly, the Grammy-winning singer was “excited” and insisted that she might have had the disease for a few months before they met-but she told him that she had only been with him Intimacy, the lady testified.
“This person deliberately gave me what he knew he had. He could have controlled it,” Jane said angrily from the stand, Kelly sat there expressionless.
Jane collapsed in the stands, explaining that she and other cohabiting girlfriends were forced to abide by Kelly’s strict rules, including wearing loose clothes and avoiding men entering the elevator. She said that in order to ensure their silence and loyalty to Kelly, they were forced to write at least four false letters every year, claiming that they had stolen money or were harassed by their families.
Jane said she was also forced to record videos that belittle herself as punishment-including a video where she had to smear feces on her face and put it in her mouth.
Allegedly, after filming this degrading video, Kelly told her that she was “not dedicated enough” and “must be redone.” Jane said she refused.
The plaintiff stated that Kelly often physically abused her. Once, after she lied to her high school friend to text her, she beat her with a 12-size Air Force 1 shoe.
“He beat me all over. My arms, my face, my ass,” she said. At the time, she weighed less than 100 pounds and less than 5 feet.
On another occasion, after she bought a Hollister sweatpants of the wrong size, Kelly locked her in a room in his Chicago studio for more than three days. Jane Doe 5 explained to the jurors that the most common punishment is spanking-or Kelly called it “punishment.”
“He will leave bruises and sometimes tear my skin,” Jane Doe5 said, adding that Kelly would perform sordid punishments every two to three days. “[Kelly] said spanking was just to help me remember” his rules.
Jane is the second accuser to oppose the once-respected R&B singer. The prosecutor accused Kelly of abusing at least six women and girls, four of whom were minors when he first had sex with them. At least two people said they contracted herpes after Kelly deliberately exposed them to the disease.
Kelly, 54, faces a series of charges, including extortion based on kidnapping, sexual exploitation of children and forced labor. He was also charged with violating the Mann Act, which prohibits people from having sex across states.
“He mentioned the rules… the agreement that I have to follow in front of him,” Jane said Monday, adding that when she went to his show with Kelly, the rules began to appear. “He wants me to call him father.”
“Every time we get close, he will control it,” she added later. “He told me to walk back and forth, which is what I had to do until he gave me another direction.”
Jerhonda Pace, a mother of four, claimed that she was sexually and physically abused by Kelly at the age of 16. She also testified last week that the singer gave her herpes. She said that in their relationship, Kelly never wore a condom and never told her that he had a sexually transmitted disease.
Northwestern University professor and Kelly’s former primary care physician, Dr. Kris G. McGrath, testified under a subpoena on Thursday that he had prescribed this singer drug to treat herpes symptoms at least as early as 2007, but he first realized that Kelly was in 2000 May have herpes. McGrath said that after the interview, he told Kelly to inform his sexual partner of the possible diagnosis.
But Jane Doe 5 said that in 2015, before learning that Kelly had herpes, she had unprotected sex with Kelly for several months.
Jane Doe 5, who initially claimed to be 18, said that she started traveling with Kelly shortly after meeting Kelly in 2015. During these trips, she was forced to stay in a hotel room, wear loose clothes, and seek Kelly’s consent to take action every time she met Kelly, she told the jurors.
Jane Doe 5 said that she ended up spending the rest of the summer before her fourth grade at Chicago High School-where she was confined to a hotel room and Kelly’s studio. She said that because the studio does not have a bathroom, she “cannot leave without calling” and is often forced to urinate in a large cup at a nearby gas station.
At the end of the summer, Jane recounted how she was “scared” and finally admitted to Kelly that she was actually a minor. When she leaked the secret on a hot dog in Lincoln Park, she said Kelly laughed at her, then slapped her with an open palm, and walked away.
A few hours later, he found her in the park and convinced her to come back with him. “He gave me a kiss and he said we would figure it out,” she said.
After consulting with his lawyer, Jane Doe 5 said that she eventually moved to Chicago to live with him and went to school at home with the permission of her parents. She ended up living with Kelly for five years.
The notorious singer pleaded not guilty to all charges against him and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. Throughout the trial, Kelly’s defense team argued that his accuser had a consensual relationship with the singer, calling the liar “purposeful.”
The prosecutor also accused Kelly of bribing an Illinois government employee with a $500 bribe in 1994 to obtain a false benefits ID card to marry the “R&B Princess” Aaliyah.
“It shouldn’t have happened. It’s wrong,” Kelly’s former tour manager Demetrius Smith testified about the marriage on Monday. “I shouldn’t talk about Aaliyah, she is not here.”
Smith, who was forced to testify and was granted immunity, told jurors on Friday that he helped Kelly obtain a fake welfare card for the teenage singer so that she could marry him in 1994. There is no date of birth on the fake ID. It is one of two cards that Smith helped the singer to illegally obtain so that they could get married. He said that Aaliyah, who was 15 at the time, said that she thought she was pregnant.
“They were more than just friends from the beginning,” Smith said of the relationship, which began when Aaliyah was a teenager. “I just think they are too fun.”
On Friday, Smith sometimes had disputes with Judge Ann Donnelly and prosecutors because he reluctantly described how he flew to Chicago from a show in Orlando with Kelly in August 1994, after the singer revealed that Arya Encountered “trouble, buddy”. On the plane, Smith said Kelly was “very worried” because he worried that if the teenage singer was really pregnant, he would go to jail. Smith insisted that he never believed that Arya was really pregnant.
The marriage certificate shown to the jurors on Friday indicated that she was three years older than then, and therefore reached the legal age to marry the 27-year-old “I Believe I Can Fly” artist at the time.
The couple got married in a suite at the Sheraton Hotel near the airport-both dressed in “casual clothing.” About an hour later, Smith said that he and Kelly returned to the airport to catch a plane to continue the singer’s tour.
The Cook County Clerk’s marriage application, certificate, and license indicate that the couple married in Rosemont, Illinois on August 31, 1994. In February 1996, Aaliyah’s underage marriage to Kelly was cancelled by her parents.
