Dettol launched its first plant-based product line.

Dettol has launched its first line of antibacterial products containing plant-based active ingredients, including biodegradable wipes. The Tru Clean series includes four biodegradable multi-purpose wipes and two trigger sprays, all formulated with plant active ingredients, which can kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19.
According to a new study commissioned by Dettol, six out of ten consumers said that they might buy cleaning products that claim to be environmentally friendly instead of regular (non-environmentally friendly) products. The Tru Clean series is taking steps to meet this demand, providing formulas containing plant active ingredients and biodegradable wipes without affecting shoppers’ cleaning and disinfecting effects of Dettol. Dettol’s Tru Clean products will help support sustainability-conscious shoppers who hope to develop more environmentally friendly habits at home by using products that have a better impact on the environment.
Dettol’s Tru Clean multi-purpose wipes are not only biodegradable and compostable, but the series of manufacturing process zero waste is sent to the landfill, and each trigger spray and wipes formula is free of bleach, dye and phosphate .
