Air Minnesota just told its employees to get an opportunity or pay a price

The major Minnesota airline did not mandate its employees to be vaccinated, but said they would pay the price if they were not vaccinated.
Earlier this year, Delta Air Lines was ranked top in the latest JD Power North American Airline Satisfaction Survey, and it is becoming some of the major airlines in our ongoing battle against COVID-19 and the ironically new name, Delta Air Lines. Headlines.
Of course, Delta Air Lines has a major hub at St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minneapolis-Bloomington, Minnesota’s largest airport. I still consider Delta Air Lines to be a “Minnesota” airline, even though its headquarters is not here. Its corporate headquarters are located in Atlanta, but since the merger of Delta Air Lines and Minnesota’s Northwest Airlines in 2008, Delta Air Lines still has an important influence in Minnesota.
On Wednesday, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian (Ed Bastian) announced a new policy that encourages all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or face new monthly health insurance surcharges.
CNBC stated that Delta Air Lines employees, including approximately 7,000 employees working in Minnesota, had been notified of the decision on Wednesday, stating:
Starting from November 1st, if employees are not vaccinated against Covid-19, their health insurance premiums will face a monthly increase of US$200, citing the high cost of paying employees who are hospitalized due to the virus.
In addition, as of September 12, any Delta Airline employee who has not been vaccinated will be subject to other restrictions and will be tested weekly for COVID with a “high community case rate,” CNBC noted. According to reports, the new policy is a far cry from United Airlines and other airlines that have already required their employees to be vaccinated.
The story goes on to say that Delta estimates that 75% to 80% of its employees have been vaccinated, so this new policy only targets a small percentage of its employees. Still, the monthly cost of $200 is quite high-I think if you want people to get opportunities, I think you have to, right?
Given that Delta just ranked first among all American airlines this year, you can say that their brand is very popular now. But is it one of the most popular brands in the country? Keep scrolling to see which brands!
