Shemesh launches 200ppm can production line-Nonwovens Industry Magazine

Shemesh Automation will open a new showroom in the United States in the second half of 2021. The website will be equipped with a new 200ppm total solution tank wet wipe production line called TKS-200. Shemesh will invite selected market participants to review the new technology in the second half of 2021 before selling the production line. Shemesh will also have a spare parts inventory at the US site. These initiatives represent an investment of more than US$4 million. Based on decades of perfecting existing technology, the new production line is to meet the increased demand for cartridge wipes, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This investment is expected to consolidate the reputation of the Shemesh brand as a global leader in the field of canister wet wipe packaging machinery. “In the past few decades, we have been working tirelessly to optimize our machines and truly perfect the overall turnkey solutions we provide for the cartridge wipes industry,” said CEO Shai Shemesh. “I am very proud of what we have achieved through the breakthrough TKS-200 turnkey solution. In fact, we know that no other company in the world is engaged in liquid filling, round wiper paper roll filling, conductive sealing With such deep vertical expertise in different technologies such as sealing, capping, labeling and boxing-Shemesh’s core technology and great value proposition cater to our customer base.” With other traditional market sectors such as food and beverages or cosmetics (For example, Shemesh also operates in it.) Compared with the established production line, due to high-speed liquid filling while taking into account the complexity of elastic solids or round non-woven fabrics, the tank wipe production line is much more complicated, inside the container. This usually occurs in the simultaneous processing of alcohol solutions and potentially corrosive environments.
Mark Calliari is the director of Shemesh’s North American operations. “Following the great success of TKS-60 and mainly TKS-120 in the market, I am extremely excited about this new development. I believe that the new TKS-200 will be a market, because it not only provides higher speeds, And the consistency in terms of production, accuracy and user satisfaction is better than ever,” he said. “Shemesh’s new TKS-200 and the substantial investment in a new US showroom and spare parts inventory once again prove our firm commitment to the industry, customers and the US market.”
