7 things you need to pack for this year’s trip | Pioneer Community Newspaper

(BPT)-Autumn leaves, holidays-everything is on us. You are ready to travel, but it may have been some time since the last voyage. What do you need to bring for a comfortable, safe and enjoyable trip? It’s best to plan ahead to pack important items in your carry-on luggage so that you can easily access them on the way.
Your travel requires documents, such as ID documents, so make sure to keep them in a safe place where you can easily access them when you need them. Some travelers find that travel wallets (enough to hold all the items you need) and/or passport covers can help ensure the safety and convenience of important documents. Make sure you understand the requirements of the TSA, airlines, and your destination before you travel, especially when going abroad. Make sure you have any credit or debit cards that you plan to use in a safe location.
Air travel can be noisy, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the journey. Whether you like listening to music, audiobooks, podcasts, or your favorite meditation app, quality earplugs can have a huge impact. Using LG’s TONE Free FP9 true wireless earbuds, you can immerse yourself in rich, clear audio through Meridian Technology, up to 10 hours on a single charge. Even better, LG’s plug-and-play function allows your charging case to double as a wireless dongle, allowing users to connect TONE Free earbuds to devices without Bluetooth functionality, such as in-flight entertainment systems. Thanks to the built-in UV-C lamp, the UVNano charging box can also keep the speaker net clean, and it only takes 5 minutes to reduce bacteria by 99.9% during charging.
In order to make the journey more comfortable, many savvy travelers consider travel pillows to be a must, especially for long-distance flights. There are many different designs and styles on the market, so you may want to try one or two at home in an upright or slightly inclined position to see which suits you best. Inflatable pillows are an option to consider because they are easier to pack if space is tight.
Especially if you don’t like audiobooks or podcasts, you may wish to bring more entertainment to kill time during your flight. Lightweight e-readers are a good choice because they are easy to hold and read in any light conditions. Worried about a dead battery? Instead, pack an old paperback book.
It’s also a good idea to pack or wear an extra, because the plane will get cold, and sitting for a long time will make you feel colder. Bring a lightweight but comfortable fleece jacket, sweater or sweatshirt that is easy to put on and take off so you can be prepared for any fluctuating temperatures during the journey.
Please check with the TSA, your airline and your destination (especially foreign countries) about current health and safety agreements. Be sure to bring a few more masks, a small bottle of hand sanitizer (follow the TSA’s guidelines for liquids and gels) and a pack of disinfectant wipes so you can clean everything and the surrounding area.
Air travel can also cause dehydration, so carrying a water bottle with you and sipping as needed will make you feel better. The security check must be empty, but you can refuel at the gas station at the airport before boarding. If you don’t have a favorite insulated travel water bottle, another convenient option is a collapsible water bottle (easier to pack)-some have their own filtration system.
Plan ahead and the items on the list, and you will have a relaxing and comfortable trip.
